The BOD manages the affairs of NEBS, including adopting standing rules, managing finances, maintaining records, and managing BOD membership.
Tracks membership, manages member recruiting, and resolves issues related to membership creation and renewal
Help organizers create and edit cook's packets, reviews and recommends events to the board for certification as NEBS contests, assists persons wishing to become contest organizers, trains and certifies NEBS contest officials
Creates, maintains, and executes NEBS judge training and certification programs
Manages NEBS online marketing, social media, print media, and other publicity related programs
Proposes and manages NEBS events, including social gatherings and business meetings
Proposes and manages NEBS charitable giving and volunteer programs
Determines the rules for Competitor Recognition Programs, and tracks and publishes the results of these programs
Proposed, implements, and maintains the NEBS technology infrastructure, including the website, marketing programs, and contest management software
Recruits and proposes candidates for the Board of Directors, manages the annual election of board members
Proposes the NEBS budget for upcoming fiscal year.
Creates and maintains the bylaws for the organization
